Colin Farrell has been spotted in character as Penguin on the set of The Batman in Liverpool. The Irish actor was once unrecognizable at a funeral scene that still featured Robert Pattinson (Bruce Wayne/Batman) and Zoë Kravitz (Selina Kyle/Catwoman).
In August, lovers were given their first glimpse of Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin when the trailer debuted, but the new photographs expose an excessive transformation with prosthetics and a wig that leave the 44-year-old taking a look like a much older, heavier actor.
The movie, which has been not on time till 2022 because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, was capturing its latest scene out of doors St George's Hall in Liverpool. After a brief hiatus because of Pattinson checking out certain for the coronavirus, filming resumed just lately.
