Home Improvement's Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested On Assault Charges

Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan, 39, was arrested on Saturday at 1:01 a.m. and booked on three charges, strangulation, fourth-degree assault and interfering with making a report, according to Lane County Jail records. The former child star is being held in custody at Lane County Jail in Eugene, Oregon.

The former kid superstar is being held in custody at Lane County Jail in Eugene, Oregon.

A spokesperson for the Eugene Police Department advised ET, "On Oct. 16 at approximately 10:24 p.m., Eugene Police officers were dispatched to report of a physical dispute at a north Eugene home after neighbors called." When they arrived, the officers found Bryan "sitting outside an apartment. The victim, age 27, was at a neighboring apartment."

Investigators made up our minds that right through the altercation, Bryan assaulted the victim, strangled her and took her telephone when she attempted to call the police. The victim, who has been recognized as Bryan’s female friend, declined scientific attention. Meanwhile, the actor was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lane County Jail.

Bryan, known for taking part in Tim Allen's eldest son Brad on Home Improvement, which aired on ABC from 1991 to 1999, has also appeared in True Heart (1999) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). In 2007, he married Carly Matros, whom he met in highschool. The couple proportion four young children — Taylor, Gemma, Jordana and Pierce. They had reportedly split up a couple of weeks earlier than Saturday’s arrest.

Last 12 months, in an interview with Fox News, Bryan spoke about being a conservative in Hollywood and blasted “elitist” actors for blacklisting Donald Trump supporters. “There’s a lot more conservatives in Hollywood than any person thinks,” he said. “I’ve been on this industry 30 years … I get messages always pronouncing, ‘Keep up the great combat.'”

Bryan ultimate gave the impression on television in 2009 when he starred within the Syfy channel film Thor: Hammer of the Gods, which was poorly received by critics. Soon after, the actor reportedly give up acting as a result of "he had gotten tired of being in the industry."
